Overview

The department of nephrology aims at providing comprehensive, evidence based management of patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, glomerular diseases, post renal transplant and end stage renal disease.

Services

  • Management of urinary infections, acute kidney injury and critical care nephrology
  • Chronic kidney disease including diabetic kidney disease : management and follow up to mitigate progression
  • Hemodialysis unit including emergency dialysis
  • Renal biopsy and glomerular disease management

  • Improving access to affordable care for renal diseases in at-risk population
  • To improve outcomes of chronic kidney disease and ESRD patients
  • Providing the latest evidence guided therapy for glomerular diseases (nephrotic and nephritic syndromes)

  • State of the art dialysis unit with RO plant
  • Temporary and tunneled catheters dialysis catheter insertion (femoral and jugular)
  • Ultrasound guided kidney biopsy
  • Follow up for renal transplant patients
  • Comprehensive management of renal stones and urinary infections in collaboration with urology department
