Anti ragging awareness programme was conducted for our students on 18th and 19th of August 2025 in lecture halls 1, 2 & 4 of Karuna Medical College, Palakkad along with anti ragging committee members.
The highlights of the program:
- The Principal addressed each batch of MBBS students independently to give a strong message of zero tolerance towards ragging.
- Anti ragging pledge was sworn by all the students of all MBBS batches (2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024)
- Following the pledge Anti ragging declaration form was signed individually by all the above batch of students and were collected
- Students also conducted events like role play, skit etc for better awareness
- Students were educated about the consequences of ragging by the committee
The entire program ensured towards making our campus a safe learning place. In addition anti ragging day was celebrated on 13th August along with the NMC members online by oath taking.
