The Department of Psychiatry at Karuna Medical College is a premier
center for mental health education, research, and patient care.
Established with the vision of fostering excellence in psychiatric training,
the department adheres to the guidelines set by the National Medical
Commission (NMC). Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental
health services, promote research, and train future psychiatrists to meet
global standards.
The department offers a robust CBME based academic curriculum for
